your domesticated cat does not have a “native environment”, they are not natural, they do not BELONG anywhere
they were literally bred by people for specific uses and companionship and were introduced around the world where they’ve destroyed actual native wildlife because…
I can’t get over the dumb of this.
I can’t help but notice your blog says ‘genius level of intelligence.’ on it. And yet you can’t coprehend that no matter how clos to their wild ncestors cats are, they are not meant for a man made world.
This is not the wild world that cats evolved in. This is a world of buildings, cars, people who actually seek to do them harm, fenced dogs, and numbers of pesticides and diseases brought here by man.
Have you personaly dealt with cats that were dying, or dug their corpses out of walls or structures where they had gotten trapped and died a solitary, terrifying death?
I have held their bodies in my hands, I have seen them lying dead on the side of the road. I have witnessed cats shot with BB guns and arrows. I have seen people purposely swerve their cars to hit them. I have seen them rat poisoned and vomitting blood.
I have pulled the collars off of dead cats so that I could call their ‘owners’ and tell them the cat they claimed to love so much and yet shoved outside was killed in some horrific way.
Not due to the wild, but due to man.
It’s not a wild world. It’s not sprawling grass and trees. It’s reality, and it’s the reality we created.
And if none of that pulls at your heart or strikes something within you then maybe you should consider the conservation level.
You are advocating introducing an invasive species into our ecosystem, that is an avid and successful hunter of endangered species.
That hardly seems intelligent at all.
I even made a comprehensive post on the subject here.
Maybe you should take the time to read it.
